Hi! If you are looking for an inspiration for an Easter project, today I come with a short video tutorial on how to crochet your own Easter eggs. I know that we still have some time before Easter actually comes this year but this tutorial is based on crochet kit from Avec that flew off the shelves in my local Action store. Which means that some people already made their Easter decorations in February. I was one of them.

In this tutorial I share one of the crochet Easter eggs that I made, along with changes that I decided to do so it fits better around the styrofoam egg.

Easter Egg Crochet Kit

This particular crochet kit costs €2.99 and comes with materials to make 6 crochet eggs. We get acrylic yarn in 6 different colors, styrofoam eggs, crochet hook and darning needle and some ribbon to hang our decorations. It also comes with instructions on how to make different crochet Easter eggs, such as bunny egg, dotted egg or egg with flowers.

If you want to make any of those and have access to a place that sells this crochet kit, I would recommend it.

Crochet Easter Egg Video Tutorial

Some time ago I published my version of an Easter egg, using yarn included in this crochet kit. You can see that my egg is not very complicated – the design relies on color changes in each round in a certain pattern that I show you in the video.
