I might have picked up a new hobby recently. My fiancée got me a very useful gift for Valentine’s Day – a laser engraving machine. He came up with this idea because I use leather tags for my handmade dog clothes but I have to get them made by someone else, because I had no equipment to make them myself. He wanted to support me and my small business but accidentally gifted me something that may lead to me picking up a new hobby.

I tried doing something that I’ve always wanted to do – engrave an image on wooden tile. Some of the designs turned out to be a flop, others made me excited. Today I’m sharing one of the better pieces that I’ve made using leftover wood and laser engraving machine.

I’ve recorder a video of me painting a Golden Retriever on a wooden tile. I used acrylic paint to do so.

This “Paint With Me” session is a bit different than you’d expect. It was meant to be a relaxing video that you can put in the background. I’m not talking in this video, instead you can hear soft rain sounds. I’m a fan of ASMR videos and watch them while I work or have trouble falling asleep. That’s why I decided to make it semi-ASMR experience.
